Catchment Area
The catchment area of the Primary is the town of Auchterarder, Cloan, Findo Gask, Glendevon, Tullibardine, Strathallan and generally the rural area adjoining the town.
The catchment area for the Secondary includes not only the catchment area for Primary but also the associated Primary schools in Aberuthven, Blackford and Dunning.
If you are in doubt and have the postcode of property you are living in or are proposing to move to, you can check via Perth & Kinross Council website
Primary /Secondary /Enrolment
If you wish to enrol your child and you live in the catchment area of the school, you should contact the school and complete either the
Primary Pupil Registration Form or Secondary Pupil Registration Form.
If you wish to enrol your child and you do not live in the catchment area of the school, you should also complete a Placing Request Form.
Transition at P7 stage
If your child is coming to the Secondary department and you live within our catchment area you do not require to complete an enrolment form. However if you do not live in the catchment area you should complete a Placing Request Form.

Primary Registration takes place generally in third week in January preceding August entry; for Session 2010 - 2011, enrolment took place on Monday 18 and Wednesday 20 January 2010. Even if your child is already in the Nursery Class of The Community School of Auchterarder, you must enrol her/him for Primary 1 commencing in August 2010 either at this school or other Primary School of your choice.
Nursery Registration takes place generally in third week in February preceding August entry; for Session 2010 - 2011, enrolment took place on Tuesday 23 February, 9.00 - 11.00 am, and Wednesday 24 February, 1.30 - 3.00 pm. Even if your child is already in the ante-pre-school class of the Nursery, you must re-enrol her/him for Session 2010 - 2011.
NB When enrolling your child for nursery or school, you must show the following documents as evidence of age and place of residence:
Birth Certificate
Council Tax Document
Child Benefit letter
