Welcome to the Community school of Auchterarder and to what we hope will be a long and happy association with the school. The Community School of Auchterarder is designated as an All-through School with a Nursery, Primary and Secondary department. The school is located within a campus which offers facilities for community use as well as for children and families.
The years your child will spend at the school are arguably the most important years of his or her life, when the foundations for lifelong learning and development are nurtured.
The staff at this school appreciates the responsibility placed on us to provide these foundations, the skills, knowledge, understanding and values, which prepare your child for life. We recognise that it is our duty to develop each child’s talents as fully as possible to make them successful learners, responsible citizens, effective contributors and confident individuals.

We value and appreciate the important role that parents play in their child’s development and we aim to foster a strong partnership to support and strengthen that development. The participation of parents in the life of the school is encouraged and appreciated. We also understand that involvement in the life of the school can be done in different ways. It may be that you can volunteer time to support events, help out in class, join the fund raising committee or the Parent Council or simply support us by ensuring that your child is prepared for school and support our policies.
