Nursery

We view Nursery education as an extension of the home where children are encouraged through stimulating key experiences to develop physically, socially, emotionally, intellectually and aesthetically. We provide facilities and activities geared to promote active learning and the staff work closely to ensure that your child is progressing.

Attendance

Nursery education is non-statutory but continuity for the child is very important. If your child is going to be absent for a period due to illness or holiday arrangements, please keep us informed. Please inform us via the school absence line by 9.00am. If we do not hear from you it is our policy to call you regarding your absence.

It is essential that your child is accompanied by a responsible adult to and from each session. Please supervise your child on arrival and bring him/her into the Nursery.

If at some time, another adult, unknown to the Nursery staff, is going to collect your child, please ensure that we are aware of this.

Outdoor Play and Outings

We have a beautiful garden area where the children will be able to experience outdoor activities - planting bulbs and seeds, feeding and watching birds, observing the changing seasons and using our large outdoor equipment.

In order to make the children more aware of their local environment we take them on shopping trips and visit the interesting places in and around Auchterarder. We request that you sign a parental consent form to cover such trips and visits. Once signed, this covers all the local trips that we would propose to undertake throughout the session.

ParentPay

We are currently a cashless school and you will receive information with regard to a username and password in due course once your child has been enrolled.
