Our Children – Our School

Parent Council School Fund Raising – Did You Know?

  • The school rely heavily on Parent Council raised funds to pay for “extras” that their budget will not stretch to.

  •  Parent Council aim to raise £5000 every school year to support the school in providing as varied and exciting a learning experience as possible for our children.

  •  Any parent/carer can be part of the fund raising group - you don't have to be a parent council member.  If you are interested please contact us - details are in the link here Contact the Parent Council.

  • If everyone does a little, - whether it's donating a raffle prize, helping plan an event, or serving teas and coffees at the primary sports day - no one has to do a lot.  It all helps, is good fun and very rewarding all round. To see in real terms what our efforts can do click here.

  • We have supported the school in being able to upgrade the Seesaw subscription used within Primary and also provided support to the purchase of Show My Homework in Secondary.

School Fundraising Programme 2019 2020

  • Recent funds raised

Covid has added a new dimension to Fundraising so we've had to think hard about how we continue to raise funds to support the School!

A very successful venture was our Christmas Raffle - our Parent Council Elves worked really hard to make some beautiful hampers, raising a wonderful £1200 for the school. Thanks so much to everyone who bought tickets and supported this!

Christmas 2020 also saw our Fundraising Team involved in producing a Treasure Trail in the windows of the local shops. We didn't use this as a fundraising event, instead choosing to use this as an opportunity to spread a little Christmas cheer whilst encouraging people to notice the beautiful Christmas window displays in our amazing high street! Seeing families enjoying the treasure hunt (even in the rain!) brought a big smile to our faces.
